Established 1977 studio 

The Established 1977 website is the result of a plan to find the best in contemporary fashion that isn’t scarily priced & is ultimately, by far the loveliest collection around, sold online, but with all the friendliness & customer care that used to happen in stores!

Currently selling womenswear & accessories, we plan to launch a menswear collection soon. Watch this space for the chance to re-dress the man in your life & assuage any guilt you may experience from shopping for yourself with us!

Selecting fashion forward pieces from all sorts of fashion houses – sometimes small, start-up, directional, just graduated designers, or  much larger, more established companies – it doesn’t matter: the brief is always the same; find the best pieces each season that reflect the trends we want to wear & be part of & focus on quality, cut, cost, desirability – it’s dead simple really!

Working on the “do as you would be done to policy,” we’re not interested in having in our collections any pieces that could cause excessive offence to our clients, or unnecessary suffering to those who are part of the process of bringing them to the point of sale. Although we do stock suede & leather, we don’t have them in stock if their manufacture is unethical. We will always make it part of our company policy to ensure the products we sell are manufactured to comply with best practices as required by the applicable European Union directives.

We hold season start & end parties for our clients at the studio. Check your preferences in the Your Account page to see if you’re set up to receive email notifications about these events.

* Acts as your Personal Stylist, making suggestions based on your previous purchases & your answers to the questions about your sartorial likes & dislikes on the Registration page. Please email Estelle@Established1977.com for this list of questions if you haven't already filled it in.

* Answers any queries you have about the stock; size, fit, alterations, care.

 


Careers:

We are always interested in meeting people who love, love, love fashion & believe in giving 177% to their job! Working for a small company is different from larger organizations: your work is often more varied – our Director is often Coffee-Run girl too! Our Sales Girls can also be Marketing Gurus, & if your body fits & you're happy to strike a pose, you could also end up as our poster girl! So, a varied skill set & a willingness to be involved is paramount. We love being at work & think the place where you spend the majority of your waking life should be amazing! What’s currently available?

We have vacancies on our Intern Programs. These programs centre on PR/Marketing, Photoshoots/Styliing or Online Development. They are designed for University students or recent graduates who wish to gain work experience within their chosen career field, though we also welcome applicants who are wishing to change career & can demonstrate commitment to learning & experience in another field.
